LIMINAL

A “liminal space” is defined as the threshold between two places, states of being, or eras. The term is derived from the Latin word, “limen,” meaning “threshold” or doorway: the passageway between two things.

Liminal spaces recognize the world's ongoing transition, pulling us along as we go. The rapid pace of modern life feels unmanageable, but our actual experiences remain unchanged. When uncertainty becomes our norm, perhaps finding solace in the commonplace nature of this limbo offers some comfort
